Zest Education is honoured to collaborate with a growing school located in the Market Drayton area. Commencing in January 2025, this full-time position will last for at least one term and requires a male teacher for changing room supervision.
The school's vision is centred around equipping young individuals with the skills to succeed, regardless of their background or abilities. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Physical Education (PE) for Key Stages 3 and 4, with familiarity in Key Stage 5 being advantageous.
As a male PE teacher in a full-time capacity, the role encompasses planning lessons, assessing practical work, and assuming the responsibility of managing and supervising the changing rooms before and after each PE session. Excellent behaviour management skills are indispensable.
The successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification resulting in Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
- Strong passion for PE as a subject, coupled with extensive knowledge spanning Key Stages 3 and 4
- Willingness to collaborate within the department and broader school community
- Capability to lead extracurricular PE clubs and activities
