An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Band 2 Health Care Assistant to join Pre-operative Assessment Team at St Richards Hospital. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Health Care assistant to deliver a high quality service to patients attending the pre-operative assessment unit. ( outpatient setting ). We are looking for a health care assistant with ability to work collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team as well as working independently. Main tasks - to facilitate clinic appointments, observations, clinical tests and admin duties. Informal visits welcome (call 01243 788122 ext 31920 to arrange with nurse in charge). Flexible interview dates can be arranged. The successful candidate will be required to work between 2 units Emer and Pagham Suite based in St Richards Hospital - working in a clinic/ outpatient setting over a 37.5 hr week over 4 day period 0700-1700 The post holder will be required to have good communication skills and support all patient and staff within the clinic setting, observations, and clinical sample handling, admin and housekeeping duties.
