Lettings Consultant
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £23800 - £25000 Plus Commission
Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Mon - Fri and every other Saturday 10am - 3pm
My client is an ever-growing student lettings company with nationwide offices. Their vision is to provide industry-leading accommodation experiences for their students and landlords across the country. We are looking for a Lettings Consultant to work as part of the Lettings team. The ideal candidate will place a huge emphasis on customer service and be passionate about delivering a first-class experience. As a Lettings Consultant, you will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of lettings prior to a tenancy commencing.
Working in a team, you will be required to build excellent relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors. You must be an excellent communicator who is used to maintaining relationships with a diverse range of people and must have a 'get stuck in' attitude.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining great relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors
2. Ensuring the Tenant and Landlord experience is exceptional
3. Managing communications via phone, email, Live Chat, and WhatsApp
4. Maintaining lettings compliance knowledge and conducting Right to Rent checks
5. Receiving and processing new enquiries from Tenants and Landlords
6. Advertising properties and proactively contacting our database of potential Tenants
7. Registering applicants, arranging viewings, conducting viewings, and providing feedback to Landlords
8. Negotiating offers between Landlords and Tenants
9. Assisting the Asset Management team during the busy changeover period
10. Assisting with marketing events
Who we're looking for:
1. 6-12 months experience in lettings, either from estate agency, PBSA, student HMO's or BTR
2. Excellent organisational skills
3. Excellent communication skills to provide high-quality service to all customers
4. The ability to see a job through from start to finish
5. Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
6. Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
7. Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
8. Driving licence required; personal car preferred, however, company pool car can be used.
