This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Duties Oversee inventory management and implement strategies to minimise losses. Ensure optimal maintenance and performance of all vehicles. Develop and execute efficient logistics plans for multi-drop delivery routes. Maintain precise records of incoming goods. Manage the upkeep of warehouse facilities and grounds, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Lead and enhance staff performance through effective management and development. Oversee the process of managing returned goods. Supervise the management of joinery machinery and spare parts inventory. Undertake additional duties as reasonably assigned by management. Essential Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to keep track of stock levels and maintain a clean and organised environment. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Proactive and positive with a forward-thinking and flexible disposition. Friendly, approachable demeanour with a focus on helping customers.
