Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week, including a weekend day
Salary: £12.21 per hour (applies to all, including those under the age of 21)
Are you looking for a fun and varied job in hospitality? YHA Beer is looking for a proactive, reliable and friendly team-player to prepare cooked breakfasts and help keep the hostel clean and tidy, 3 days per week. As a Hospitality Team Member, you'll play a key role in making our guests' experiences memorable.

What will you be doing as a Hospitality Team Member?
* Ensuring adherence to food hygiene standards in food storage, preparation, and delivery.
* Upholding health and safety regulations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of kitchen checks.
* Taking pride in the preparation, presentation, and service of high-quality food.
* Recording food wastage in accordance with your hostel's procedures, focusing on minimizing waste to maximize profit.
* Providing great customer service to all our customers, members, and guests.
* Preparing and serving food and drinks with genuine warmth, hospitality, and pride.
* Using our systems for efficient guest check-ins and check-outs, food and beverage sales and service.
* Carrying out housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable, clean environment for all visitors.
What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Hospitality Team Member?
* Experience of working face to face with customers.
* Experience of working in a team.
* Confidence to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision.
* Excellent timekeeping, with flexibility to cover different shifts.
* Ability to manage varying pressures and prioritize tasks.
* Knowledge and understanding of the core purpose of YHA.
* Experience of working in hospitality, catering or customer service.
* Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (desirable).
* Basic IT skills (ideally Microsoft Office).
* Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks.
* Able to get to work for an early start; own transport required.
