This role is predominately to support the extraction/filing back of patient health records.
No experience of the Health Records role is required as on the job training will be provided. We would welcome you to get in touch with us or call in to visit the department.
Applications are invited from motivated, efficient and committed individuals for the position of Health Records Clerk, based at the Health Records Filing Library, Withybush Hospital, Pembrokeshire.
The post is part-time; working 15 hours per week (between the hours of 4pm - 7pm) Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include operation of a computerised patient administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data. Locating, extracting and tracking of patient records. Filing of patient records in numerical order and making records available for distribution throughout the Health Board and general telephone duties.
Applicants must possess excellent organisational, inter-personal and numerical skills. A flexible approach to working and working hours is required and you should be prepared to undertake additional duties as and when required. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is vital.
