Are you looking to deliver music tuition in a flexible role in a successful secondary school?
New Rickstones Academy is graded ‘Good’ (November 2023) and has a state of the art building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 9 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is a popular choice in the local area, is oversubscribed, and has added another new building to meet this demand.
New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high retention rates. Development is a priority with an extensive and successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme to further develop our excellent staff.
The successful candidate will have a passion for music with significant musical experience and capacity to teach drums and/or guitar to Grade 5 (theory and practical). You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and enthuse your students.
While we are currently looking for Drum and/or Guitar tutors, as our Musical School continues to grow we encourage applications from candidates with any other instrument experience.
This role is on a casual basis and days are flexible. Music lessons run from 3:30pm to 7pm. All new starters are required to attend a compulsory statutory induction training.
For further information on this position please contact Luke Taylor, Music Co-ordinator, ltaylor@newrickstonesacademy.org.
