Head of Talent Acquisition- Chorley £70,000 This really is the opportunity of a lifetime, our client a PE backed, growing professional services organisation are looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to join a well established and award winning business.As Head of Talent Acquisition, you will establish an internal talent acquisition function and design, develop, and execute a comprehensive, forward-thinking strategy aligned to growth strategy, strategic objectives, values, and long-term company goals. Principal Accountabilities: Establish and lead the internal talent acquisition function, ensuring consistency and excellence across all business areas in the implementation of talent strategies. Partner with senior leaders, HR, and hiring managers across all business areas to understand workforce planning needs and proactively identify and maintain a pipeline of top talent engaging with both active and passive talent aligned to the company’s growth strategy. Identify sourcing strategies to effectively attract all levels of candidates from early careers talent (apprentices and graduates) to specialist technical roles, experienced hires and business-critical leadership roles. Drive innovative talent sourcing strategies to attract a diverse range of candidates for a broad range of roles. Measure the success of sourcing strategies and undertake analysis to ensure you are maximising talent solution outcomes across the business. Collaborate with marketing colleagues to enhance the company’s employee value proposition (EVP) and promote the business as an employer of choice. Leverage social media, industry networking events, and engagement with educational establishments to enhance employer brand. Lead the talent acquisition team to ensure a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to on-boarding. Conduct salary and benefits bench-marking and advise on the same to ensure the business remains competitive in candidate attraction across all roles. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of talent strategies and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and the board. Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget efficiently, ensuring a strong return on investment. Maintain and review supplier relationships, contracts, and the preferred supplier list (PSL) to support talent acquisition objectives. Experience Full UK driving licence Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, similar or equivalent (desirable) Associate or Chartered CIPD professional membership (desirable) Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Experience working with leadership teams to align talent strategies with business goals. A strategic mindset capable of translating business requirements into effective talent solutions. Proven success in a similar role Expert knowledge of talent sourcing avenues to target the attraction of suitably skilled candidates in roles and markets where there is a shortage of talent. Demonstrable experience of building talent pipelines including headhunting and passive candidate engagement. Knowledge and experience of leveraging innovative technologies to streamline and improve talent attraction and recruitment processes and candidate experience. In-depth knowledge of inclusive hiring practices and UK employment law. Full understanding of relevant legislation including UK right to work legislation and GDPR. Demonstrable ability to build strong relationships with and credibility to influence key stakeholders. Ability to effectively generate and communicate strategic talent metrics. Strong commercial acumen. Results-focused.
