Job Title: Locum MSK Physiotherapist Banding: Band 6 Location: Inverness Working Hours: Full-time (37 hours) to be worked Monday-Friday, or longer days Monday-Thursday Start Date: Wednesday, 8th January Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extending Rate: £24 - £27 per hour Opening Paragraph: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist to join our team in Inverness. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work within NHS Highland, providing high-quality musculoskeletal care to our patients. The role is set to start on the 8th of January, with a 2-day handover period with the current locum, and will last for 3 months, with the potential for extension. On-site accommodation is likely to be available from the 10th of January. Responsibilities: As a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of musculoskeletal patients, delivering comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Your role will also involve educating patients on self-management techniques, maintaining accurate patient records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our physiotherapy services. Additionally, you will need to travel between sites, requiring a full (manual) UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Physiotherapy HCPC registration Previous experience in MSK physiotherapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full (manual) UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Flexibility to work full-time hours, Monday-Friday or longer days Monday-Thursday.
