We are seeking a Recruitment and Talent Advisor to support our Place directorate and Citywide services in volume recruitment. This role is crucial in expediting the recruitment process and ensuring a smooth transition for both services and candidates. The successful candidate will join a well-established team and will be supported by other Advisor colleagues and a Team Leader.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Provide high-quality advice and support on recruitment matters including resourcing, terms and conditions, candidate sourcing, talent pipelines, onboarding, and succession planning.
2. Support managers with tools and advice to ensure a smooth and effective recruitment and onboarding process while adhering to safeguarding practices.
3. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from advertising to onboarding, ensuring candidates feel valued and are kept up to date at every step.
4. Ensure the recruitment process is fair, inclusive, and compliant with equality legislation.
5. Advertise role opportunities via social media and collaborate with managers on campaign opportunities to reach a wider pool of talent.
6. Produce accurate and timely employment contracts, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
7. Identify areas for continuous improvement in recruitment processes and actively work to implement these.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Good communication skills and a willingness to work closely with services, managers, and candidates.
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and MS Teams.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage strict deadlines.
4. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional.
