Increased investment and a rise in flood events have created this exciting opportunity within Herefordshire Council's expanding Drainage and Flood Risk Management Team. You will contribute to shaping Herefordshire's approach to flood risk management and assist with the development of vital projects.
You will need to:
* Support the development and delivery of initiatives to improve the county’s resilience to flooding.
* Maintain and develop flood-related web content.
* Contribute to flood resilience projects and working groups.
* Help improve and update the council’s information and data on flooding.
* Collaborate with key partners, including the Environment Agency, water companies, Internal Drainage Boards, and neighbouring councils, on flood risk, drainage, and planning.
* Provide customer support and administrative assistance.
