Overview
The Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining and beverage services. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for hospitality and a strong background in service and operational management. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of restaurant and beverage service, from restaurant and bar operations to guest satisfaction, while leading a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
2. Work with Chefs to deliver menus that reflect seasonal trends and customer preferences while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
3. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items.
4. Train and mentor staff in hospitality best practices and bartending skills.
5. Implement health and safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
6. Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and promote events or special offerings.
7. Handle customer feedback effectively to improve service quality.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
3. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
4. Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management is highly desirable.
5. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
6. A background in bartending or knowledge of beverage management is an advantage.
