We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Administrator to join our dynamic internal sales team. This role is vital in providing administrative and operational support to our Business Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating quotations, processing customer orders, and producing business reports. You will also work closely with the Finance team to follow up on receivables and assist with new account qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of service in line with company standards. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Business Development team. Assist in achieving business objectives by supporting general operations and ensuring smooth workflows. Prepare accurate proposals and quotations, collaborating with the Operations, BD, Logistics, and Engineering teams. Manage and update the quote log to improve conversion rates and maintain an accurate sales pipeline. Process sales transactions and manage the firm order book efficiently. Support marketing activities, including involvement in exhibitions and events. Perform general office duties such as managing correspondence, handling emails, scanning documents, and proofreading. Handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly and courteously, directing them as appropriate. Compile and distribute daily summaries for internal stakeholders using MRP data. Assist with pricing management, including customer price lists and contract adjustments. Manage key accounts to ensure excellent service and clear communication. Required Skills and Experience: Solid understanding of international B2B sales and familiarity with Incoterms. Experience in a similar role within engineering or manufacturing is highly preferred. Prior experience working with an MRP system is essential. Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with qualifications such as GCSE grade C or equivalent. A Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Business Administration, Level 3 Sales and Account Management, or a T Level in Management and Administration is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. A team player who can work independently, take initiative, and has leadership qualities. Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week: Monday Thursday: 08:00 16:45 Friday: 08:00 12:30 Flexibility to work extended hours may be required on occasion. Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus statutory holidays per year.
