Monday – Friday 7.30am – 8.45am (6 hours 15 minutes per week)
Actual salary: £3,454.74 - £3,565.01

We have an exciting opportunity for a Before School Club Play Worker to join our team. The Play Worker role is to support the provision of a child-centred environment where children are looked after in a safe, caring and stimulating way ensuring their individual needs are met within a group setting, in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures.
The club will provide a welcoming learning environment for children, so you will need to be an enthusiastic and playful person to support the children's needs and supervise the play space. You will be required to escort children to their classrooms following the morning session.
Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with children and parents. You will hold a Level 2 qualification in either play work or equivalent childcare qualification and have previous experience of a play setting.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be friendly, enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team
2. Hold a Level 2 qualification in either play work or equivalent childcare qualification or have relevant experience
3. Ideally have previous experience in a play care setting

At Moorcroft Wood Primary School, we are committed to safeguarding our pupils; therefore, we will carry out online search checks for all shortlisted applicants, in line with keeping children safe in education guidance. The successful applicant will then be required to undertake an enhanced DBS along with other applicable pre-employment checks.
