About the role: Hourly Rate: £16.37 ph Location: Antrim Civic Centre/Mossley Mill - (Working in 2 locations) Hours of Work: 37 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9.00 am 5.00 pm Holidays: 35 days pro rata Duration: Up to 6 months Public Sector Please note the closing date for this vacancy is Monday 3rd March 2025. Supervise the Customer Support Officer teams at Mossley Mill and Antrim Civic Centre, fostering a team approach to customer service and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with the Customer Services Manager to implement team building, training and processes. Ensure effective communication through briefings, 1-2-1 meetings, coaching, and training. Manage staff rotas, TMS system, and CiAywhere requests. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures and training manuals. Act as the first point of contact for difficult customer issues and assist with service recovery. Support the management of complaints and the development of the Customer Charter and Customer Experience Strategy. What you will need for this role: Minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths Consideration may be given to candidates who do not hold the above qualifications but who can demonstrate 4 years' experience as detailed below Have a minimum of two years' experience in a customer services function with experience in switchboard, reception and handling payments. A minimum of 12 months experience dealing with a high volume of calls. Experience in the use of Windows and Microsoft Packages including Word, Outlook and Excel. Full current driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full, or, if a disability prevents driving, access to a suitable form of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full.
