Job summary
We are looking for an admin assistant to join our team and provide administrative support to our Diagnostic Networks team. This post is mainly based at Colchester Hospital with some potential working from home. This post is part time, with hours available up to 30 hours per week.
Over the past 2 years our portfolio has expanded from 2 to 4 diagnostic networks therefore it is an exciting time to join our team and proactively support various procurement projects. The networks are formatted as a collaboration and we are extremely passionate about how we support our trusts.
Diagnostic networks are an advocate in creating an environment to support all our staff to develop and grow, share skills and knowledge, embrace innovation, deliver excellence and value within our activities. The network specialities include: Pathology, Diagnostic Imaging, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Physiological Sciences.
You will provide an efficient and comprehensive administration to our networks, dealing with queries from the leadership team, clinical leads and domain leads. As well as general admin duties, the role will involve meeting administration and data collection and maintenance.

Main duties of the job
Please see the attached document about the East Coast Pathology Network.
1. Administrative organisation of various meetings inclusive of room bookings, collation of agenda items, completion of meeting notes/minutes and preparation of relevant documentation for review and distribution.
2. Collate and present comprehensive data to support the Network. This may require the creation and maintenance of accurate manual and electronic data collection systems.
3. Provide efficient and comprehensive administration support to Clinicians, Managers, Domain Leads and Project Support Officers across the four diagnostic pillars.
4. You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, must be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative, demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism and be aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.
5. To implement service improvements that have been identified to develop the administrative workflow.
