SEN Learning Support Assistant in Sunderland
Protocol Education is seeking caring, supportive, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) with experience working with pupils either as part of small groups or on a one-to-one basis. We are recruiting for LSAs to work in schools based in Sunderland, as well as surrounding areas.
If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant and have supported children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or offered general classroom support, then please get in contact and apply!
The ideal candidate will have:
* The ability to work well within a team
* A passion for working with children with SEND
* A patient and understanding approach
* Availability to start as soon as possible
* Prior Teaching Assistant experience
Role description:
* Providing 1:1 support
* Delivering engaging activities for pupils
* Supporting pupils to achieve their therapy targets
* Availability for at least 3 days per week
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher
