At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support for students with special educational needs (SEN) at a local specialist provision. This role is perfect for someone who values consistency, is committed to making a lasting impact, and is looking for a rewarding, full-time position. As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that our students receive the continuous support they need to succeed in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent, day-to-day support to students with a variety of special educational needs, ensuring that their individual learning requirements are met.
* Assist in the delivery of tailored educational plans and adapt resources as needed to help students achieve their learning goals.
* Support students throughout the day, both in the classroom and during break times, to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
* Develop strong relationships with students, offering encouragement and guidance to help them build confidence and resilience.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to track student progress, address any challenges, and adjust approaches where necessary.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning space.
About You:
* A strong commitment to working full-time and providing ongoing, consistent support to students.
* Previous experience in an SEN setting is beneficial but not essential; we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the role.
* A patient, compassionate, and reliable approach, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both staff and students.
* A proactive mindset, capable of adapting to the needs of individual students and the classroom environment.
* Willingness to work closely with students on their emotional, social, and academic development.
Why Join Us?
* Full-time, consistent hours, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and see their progress over time.
* A supportive team environment with ongoing training and development opportunities.
* The chance to make a meaningful difference in the educational experience of students with special needs.
* Potential to transition into a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
