The vision for the role
Our growth engine relies on the expansion and lifetime value of our repeat spenders and with that in mind the vision of the sales function is to have multiple account management pillars that are made up of account directors, account managers and account executives who are being fed account customers by the business development function who in turn are being fed new customers by the new business function.
This all fits together to build a highly accountable and scalable sales function.
The Junior Sales Executive is an entry level sales role that is the training ground for new sales people to fit into the growth of the sales function in line with the vision above.
The role has two main functions:
1. To qualify and sell solutions to all of the B2C leads that come into our CRM through our digital marketing efforts
2. To ensure all jobs for the new customers that have been converted are experiencing quality service levels
The role will require you to work in two functions; the sales function and customer service function giving you a good grounding in the sales but also the customer experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Speaking to and qualifying domestic leads and helping them with their enquiries
* Convert as many new business leads into new customers
* Building a relationship with the new customers to ensure they use us next time they need it
* Using a CRM to manage leads at all different stages within the sales cycle
* Working closely with the service delivery team to ensure all customers are experiencing a great customer service
Qualifications / Skills
* Sales focused and used to working in a target driven environment
* Confident over the phone speaking with prospects / customers
* Works well within a team
* Ability to prioritise tasks and delegate
* Sharp, can multi-task and has good attention to detail
