Job Title: Full-time Technology Teacher

Contract Type: Permanent (starting from September 2024)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team at a reputable secondary school in Lambeth. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified teachers to inspire and educate students while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Technology subjects and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
The Technology Department currently offers courses including:
* KS3 Product Design, Textiles, Food (carousel)
* KS4 GCSE Textiles
* KS4 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
Specialism in product design or resistant materials is highly desirable.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge or specialism in Technology, Design, or related fields
* Experience teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Technology and assessment frameworks
* Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Technology subjects
* Develop differentiated schemes of work aligned with the National Curriculum
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Utilize various teaching resources and technology to enhance learning
* Manage classroom behavior effectively
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians
