About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Major projects business for potential upcoming scope of work in the North East on a temporary basis. You will contribute to meaningful projects with a global impact while supporting Principal Engineers on larger scale projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Delivery of all Process Engineering project activities and deliverables within budget and schedule
* Producing and reviewing specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations
* Developing engineering philosophies, equipment specifications, and monitoring project/contractor/vendor compliance
* Providing sound technical advice and solutions to technical problems
* Attending client meetings and communicating issues with other engineers as required
Requirements:
* BSc/BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline with a minimum of 7 years experience
* Chartered Engineer (desirable)
* Minimum of 7 years general engineering experience with at least 4 years in the Process & Energy business sector focusing on the design office
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to problem-solve effectively
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering design programs
* Understanding of British and common international standards in the Process & Energy Sector

Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum
