Key responsibilities will focus on providing support and leadership to practice educators/ supervisors/assessors and support the management of unpredictable and emotional situations relating to difficult assessment decisions in the achievement of clinical competence, at formative and summative level. Practice Facilitators will act as a role model to promote excellence in practice through education, leadership, advice and support. Practice Facilitators work collaboratively with the Head of Education and Clinical Development, Professional Lead for Allied Health Professions, and Deputy Director of Nursing within the organisation to identify student placement capacity and evaluate the potential impact this may have on clinical learning opportunities to support and enhance student learning. Liaison with stakeholders such as partnership between Universities and the organisation will also be regularly required.
