Job Description
* Managing logistics operations for retail outlets in Fakenham and surrounding areas.
* Using transport planning software for optimum route planning and efficient distribution.
* Applying Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport laws and regulations.
* Coordinating with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of retail goods.
* Overseeing the maintenance and repair of Class 2 vehicles.
* Training and managing a team of logistics personnel.
* Developing logistics strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Logistics Manager should have:
* A degree in business, logistics or a related field.
* Proficiency in transport planning software and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
* A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
* Experience in transport, logistics or supply chain management in the retail industry.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
