An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to an 8-year-old boy with High Functioning Autism and Segmental Spinal Dysgenesis within the home and local community.

As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include supporting with some personal care and accompanying the child to access the community to engage in leisure activities such as basketball, football, soft play, and tennis. He also loves Lego and gaming.
We are looking for a kind, proactive, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting children.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential; however, a positive attitude and good work ethic are essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part-time position to be worked as follows:
1. 2 hours per week term time x 38 weeks
2. 10 hours per week non-term time x 14 weeks
with an hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
