What will this role entail? Reporting to the Park Services Assistant Manager you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of presentation of outside areas and park facilities, from Car Park, through main square and all outside attraction areas. The role is also responsible for traffic management across the site ensuring that guests are parked safely with the minimum of frustration to maximise their visit to Longleat. Key duties will include: Assisting with traffic management and parking on open days and during events, to ensure smooth entry, parking and exit of guests and vehicles by directing guests to parking areas or parking spaces. Patrolling parking areas in order to prevent damage and/or theft and to ensure vehicles are parked in appropriate parking area. Ensuring outside areas are clean and maintained to highest levels of presentation. Litter picking and waste removal, ensuring all bins and bin bay areas are clean and tidy and emptied on a scheduled basis. What will I need to be considered for this vacancy? This is a permanent contract working variable hours to fulfil an average of 24 hours per week. You will be working 5 days out of 7, with working hours to vary, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required.
