Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work with the School Health Screening team, coordinating the delivery of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and School Entry Vision and Screening Programmes.
This is a year-round part-time role of 30 hours per week.
The post holder will be working across Trafford, promoting uptake of the screening programmes and have the responsibility of the day-to-day supervision of the screening team. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the school visits, service provision in school and data collection of both programmes.
The post holder will work with the Clinical Lead for School Nursing, Audiology, and Orthoptist colleagues to ensure consistent high standards of referrals and programme delivery are achieved and will also need to be able to manage their own workload.
Some experience of health promotion Screening would be an advantage, but full training will be given.
A key aspect of the role involves daily and direct (e.g. face-to-face and telephone) communication with participants/clients, relatives, carers, and other health and social care professionals.

1. Contribute to the coordination and running of the school-aged screening programmes in Trafford and contribute to maintaining uptake of all programmes.
