Permanent, Full-time, Monday - Friday 37 hours (Hybrid-working)

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well-respected water technologies company, where you will be responsible for the process design of industrial wastewater treatment works at both tender and contracts stages. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Supporting Sales, Marketing, and Tendering departments with regards to pre-qualification, proposals, and post-tender submissions such as technical presentations.
2. Ensuring that available standard technical information, documentation details, and drawings are used to design; considering feedback from previous contractors.
3. Preparation and validation of controlled process design documentation in compliance with relevant design standards, statutory obligations, and regulations.
4. Supporting commissioning and service teams with regards to optimizing plants and resolving process issues.
5. Supervising Design Engineers, Group Leaders, and CAD Designers during the proposal design period.
6. Ensuring that the products and system design will not give rise to harm when operated within the recommended parameters.
7. Ensuring that products or systems are safe in use and meet current Health and Safety legislation.
8. Providing documented design risk assessments to demonstrate that any risks have been identified and addressed.
General requirements for the role:
1. Degree in Chemical/Waste Water Engineering, with 5+ years of practical knowledge (MSc in Wastewater Treatment is an advantage).
2. Self-motivated and professional.
3. Ability to connect with people via phone/video conferencing/face to face.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
5. Good research skills and the ability to translate information into resonating statements.
6. Ability to deliver accurate high-quality work to tight deadlines.
7. Ability to manage multiple enquiries and proposals.
8. PC/IT literate - preferably Google Suite.
9. Experience in Wastewater Treatment, ideally in Industrial Wastewater and Process Water applications.
10. Strong commissioning capabilities and prior hands-on experience required.
11. Experience with cloud-based process control and monitoring platforms is an advantage.
12. Contractually aware and possess good business acumen.
