Due to ongoing continuous investment and recent investments in three new multi-tasking bar-fed machines and robots, an exciting position has become available for a full-time CNC Setter/Programmer/ Turner/ Miller to join Vixen CNC - based in Snowdonia.
Vixen CNC Ltd was Established in 1999, and since incorporation has experienced significant growth within the precision machined and cast components industry to become a global supplier enabling them to service all market sectors worldwide specialising in the supply of components primarily used in PPE, height safety systems, oil and gas along with many other global industries.

Role Requirements
* Previous CNC experience is essential
* Have the ability to understand, edit and write programs
* Set the machines and operate in an efficient manner whilst using your own initiative
* Possess effective time management and organisational skills
* Have the ability to use conventional measuring equipment
Role Responsibilities
* Setting/Operating CNC machines (Milling and Turning) to the standard set and run times
* Use initiative to decide on tooling selection and method of manufacture
* Interpret drawings, identify and report drawing errors and suggest improvements
* You will be responsible for setting up and the running of machines
Most of our equipment is less than 7 years old and we have an ongoing upgrade and replacement programme to ensure we are working with the latest technological advances in machine tools and inspection equipment.
