The Job To manage the yard and warehouse, for incoming and despatching of all items, whilst keeping the displays up to date, relevant, clean and presentable. Working with the warehouse team to co-ordinate incoming goods and despatches. Delivering goods to our customers in a timely manner, assisting with organising outbound deliveries, picking products and loading vehicles. Organisation of the warehouse and yard, plus the arrivals and despatches of goods, and delivering goods to our customers covering the following key areas: Active support of other team members to ensure targets and tasks are completed Delivery of great working relationships with all team members Promotion of the business and work to a required standard Adherence to company procedures to complete tasks without assistance Timely completion of routine daily tasks to the standard required Follow through customer enquiries, requests and problems and deals with them promptly The confident and proactive resolution of customer challenges, establishing customer needs and exceeding customer expectations Adherence to all policies and procedures in respect of Health, Safety and Environment, in order to provide a safe and secure environment for self, staff and customers Demonstration of active awareness of the risks in the work environment and their potential impact on self, colleagues, customers and visitors and take action to address them Active participation and completion of training and development, refreshing and expanding relevant knowledge and skills Timely and professional completion of deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of fuel, time and resources at all times Maintenance of a tidy and presentable yard with rotated and organised stock ask associated with the efficient technical support of a Workshop. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED Essential: Team player, with a genuine interest in helping others Continuously looking to improve the yard areas and displays Qualified Forklift Truck and Telehandler Driver with experience in actively loading and unloading vehicles Full UK drivers licence so able to do Van deliveries to customers Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to liaise between a number of departments Exceptional customer service skills as dealing with many internal and external customers Desirable: Holds a tachograph card Holds a CPC Driving Licence Agricultural knowledge BENEFITS As part of The Billington Group we offer a wide range of employee benefits including: An attractive salary package.
