Job Details:
* Building relationships with other departments to identify new and innovative ways to optimise policy wording.
* Delivering changes to any of our Underwriting levers to improve profitability.
* Act as a referral point for indemnity queries, ensuring decisions align with company guidelines.
* Reviewing underwriting related complaints to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for improvement, ensuring fair customer outcomes while maintaining business objectives.
* Support in defining and implementing the mid to long term technical underwriting strategy for new and existing segments.
* Owning and sharing your ideas at an executive level, making real change.
Skills we would love you to have:
* Comfortable and confident working with ambiguity, can break down technical issues logically and can make recommendations that they can explain clearly.
* Technical underwriting knowledge and experiences that they can bring to help us shape and improve how we underwrite home risks.
* Use initiative, be accountable and honest for the approaches you take to the people who are looking to you, and most importantly be passionate about the work you do.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
