We are a specialist independent ski company with an exciting portfolio of handpicked chalets in the top-rated resorts of Verbier, Switzerland and the 3-Valleys, France. Over the past 22 years, our success has been achieved by providing sensational food and wine, superb skiing and five-star service all the way, with personality. Growing quickly, we are always looking to improve ourselves and develop a fun, high-performance team culture, both in our UK-based Sales Team and in our Ski Resorts.
We are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager. This is a newly created role to lead the non-direct sales of our business. This role will be based in Brighton and involve travel, to meet existing and new Agencies, Concierge Service Providers and other luxury travel/hospitality channel partners.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in business development.
Responsibilities
* Identify and prospect potential agencies, partners, and opportunities within the luxury skiing market.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key agencies, partners, concierge clubs and other brands/companies that resonate with our clientele.
* Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
* Negotiate and finalise contracts, agreements, and partnerships to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness, identify new agency partners and generate leads.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
* Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.
Desirable qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the travel/hospitality or luxury brands industry.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of the luxury travel/ski industry, including market trends, competitor landscape, and customer behaviour.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and a passion for travel.
* Willingness to travel as needed.

The successful candidate will be strongly results-rewarded, with compensation driven by successful new partner and new revenue production.
