Catalent is currently recruiting for a Product Manager to help develop and execute a strategy-based marketing plan for the Clinical Development & Supply Division. The Product Manager will be responsible for driving excellence, growth, and innovation through global tactical plan execution for the Clinical segment and supporting European events for the clinical supply segment.
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Strategy, Oral, Pharma and Clinical Supply, the primary accountability and responsibilities are:
* With direction from the Associate Director, create and communicate clear strategy-based marketing plans which outline resources, actions, and tactics needed to drive growth.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business and marketing objectives into executable marketing tactics that will drive awareness and lead generation.
* Work with subject matter experts and scientific advisory to create impactful expert content and strengthen thought leadership through webinars, tradeshows, incubators, and bioclusters.
* Collaborate with central marketing teams to ensure timely execution of annual marketing tactics across print and digital platforms.
* Track and assess the effectiveness of plans by ensuring KPIs such as awareness, lead generation, conversion, share, etc. are met or exceeded and provide insights to optimize the overall plan year over year.
* Work with business development teams to gather input for the development of effective sales tools while ensuring adoption and proper usage.
* Work closely with market and competitive intelligence personnel to create comprehensive reporting on competitor activities (key offerings, value propositions, new capabilities, expansions, SWOT, etc.), customer landscape (trends, needs, key problem statements), and other marketplace dynamics that might impact Early Development offerings.
* Plan activities, communication, and displays at industry conferences, including identification of high visibility sponsorship and/or speaking opportunities.
* Maintain and ensure online assets are current and fresh, working with digital marketing to optimize search results, monitor web page performance, and suggest improvements as needed.
* Support training on new products, messaging, and communication platforms for business development.
The Candidate
* BA in Marketing or Business Management.
* Previous experience in a similar role and industry.
* Competitor intelligence knowledge.
* High level of attention to detail while managing multiple projects and/or priorities under tight deadlines is a must.
* Strong computer skills are required.
* Strong organizational skills are required.
* Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure to meet competing workplace demands and appropriately prioritize is required.
* Able to self-manage time, be proactive and organized, and be able to build relationships with multiple sites, and work within a multi-national team.
