Salary: 70,000 - 70,000 GBP per year Requirements:
* Proven experience in building and supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments with knowledge of and experience using native AWS features.
* Excellent Linux experience.
* Agile experience is beneficial, as is knowledge of DevSecOps or DevOps.
* Experience in server/network administration is desirable.
* Strong working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
* AWS Certification would be advantageous (we can provide training opportunities for certifications).
* Familiarity with CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, Splunk, or CloudWatch is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for the daily operation, maintenance, and security of production and non-production environments.
* Deploy solutions on the AWS platform and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
* Advise and support the engineering team as part of a DevSecOps culture to ensure operational excellence.
* Create and support CI/CD pipelines.
* Participate in migration projects to move products from customer infrastructure to our own AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Support transformation projects aimed at enhancing our AWS cloud capabilities and capturing cloud-native technology.

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with excellent Linux, Amazon Web Services (AWS), networking, security, and scripting experience (Python or PowerShell) to play an important role in developing AWS-hosted solutions. Ideally, you will have around three years of experience and a solid understanding of AWS, with knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems. You should be able to work independently, debug issues, and have a good grasp of networking, security groups, and SRE topics. The starting salary for this role is up to £68,000, and there will be training opportunities to gain further AWS certifications.
