We are currently seeking Learning Mentors on behalf of a respected, person-centred education provider operating across Devon and Cornwall. These roles offer the chance to make a genuine impact by mentoring and supporting young people aged 16 - 25 as they build independence, confidence and essential life skills.
The Role:
As a Learning Mentor, you’ll be supporting learners with EHCPs (Education, Health Care Plans) through tailored learning journeys based in the local community. From libraries and leisure centres to workplaces and learning hubs, you’ll guide and mentor students in real world settings to help them achieve both accredited qualifications and every day skills that matter.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and mentor students in a variety of community-based settings
* Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences tailored to individual needs
* Track and assess progress towards personal and educational goals
* Collaborate closely with tutors, families and other professionals to ensure holistic support
* Encourage independence, confidence and life skills through real-life learning experiences
