Position
Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Property Paralegal to join a dynamic team in Central London, The ideal candidate will have a proven 2-year experience within residential or commercial property as well as a strong understanding of conveyancing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working on freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases.
* Being able to carry out remortgages and refinances including properties in companies.
* Buy to Let (including Company) purchases and re-finances.
* Registration including companies house and Land Registry.
* The ability to draft and file SDLT Returns.
* Experience in drafting reports on title and reports on mortgage.
* Dealing with replies to pre-contract enquiries.
* Drafting lender standard documents (e.g. mortgage deeds/guarantees).
Qualifications + Experience:
* Educated to degree level
* Completed LPC or SQE 1
* Minimum 2 years property experience.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
* Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
* Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment
* Attention to detail is essential
* IT literate
* Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress
