We are a Pupil Referral Unit, including a Hospital Education Service, a Home Tuition Provision and an Outreach Inclusion Support Team. We currently have a vacancy for an innovative, inspirational and experienced Teacher of Secondary Combined Science.
We wish to appoint experienced and motivational teacher to teach the above subject up to GCSE level for years 7-11, and lead the improvement of the subject areas throughout the school. You will be required to have a history of good to outstanding record of managing teaching pupils with SEMH and ensuring good progress.
This is a particularly demanding role and the successful candidate must be committed to creating a positive learning environment. You will need a high level of resilience and a commitment to working with a team to support vulnerable children.

Suitable candidates will:
Have experience, ideally, of working in a PRU, EOTAS or Alternative Provision (though mainstream experience only would be considered) with learners with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs or SEND.

· Be flexible, cheerful and enjoy working with children, parents and staff.
· Be able and willing to form a positive relationship with pupils in order to support their personal and social development in accordance with the school’s guideline
