Pay rate: Up to £14.74 per hour PAYE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for providing effective, efficient financial and administrative operations for all accounts receivable services.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily bank receipts and allocation of cash, ensuring customers pay to terms and resolve overdue payments.
2. Perform credit management tasks including running and analyzing monthly risk assessment reports and daily credit checks.
3. Liaise with internal departments to monitor payment performance and ongoing credit worthiness.
4. Participate proactively in ongoing harmonization projects for O2C, attending online calls and providing supporting documentation.
5. Support junior team members in daily tasks and assist in their training plans.
6. Develop effective working relationships with both internal departments and customers.
7. Investigate and initiate queries with both internal and external customers in a timely manner.
8. Collect overdue items and work towards targets set.
9. Provide holiday cover when required.
Education and Skills:
1. Degree (required) and GCSE or equivalent qualification in Mathematics and English.
2. Highly proficient in Excel, including advanced functions such as lookups and pivot tables.
3. Tactful with a confident telephone manner and high attention to detail.
4. Adaptable and a solid team player.
5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, demonstrate accuracy and meet deadlines.
