Working closely with the Ice Rink Assistants and Duty Manager, the Supervisor will lead the team and supervise all aspects of the day-to-day ice rink operation. They will be able to relate to our customers and their energy and enthusiasm will ensure they have the most enjoyable time possible as well as staying safe.

Main duties:
* Supervise and support the team of Ice Rink Assistants
* Train new staff ‘on the job’ during the run of the live experience
* Manage staff absence in a timely and effective manner
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Ensure sessions run smoothly
* Actively enforce ice rink rules and regulations
* Deputise for the Duty Manager when necessary (training provided)
* Assist Duty Manager with opening/closing procedures and coordination of any emergency procedures
* Act as a First Aider
* Maintain and resurface the ice
* Provide excellent customer service
* Ad hoc duties
* Till operation
Requirements:
* Ability to supervise a team
* Ability to efficiently use computers and modern technology
* Problem-solving skills
* Ability to work with a diverse population
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and Christmas holidays
Desirable experience:
* Experience of ice rink operations and equipment
* Ice maintenance experience
* Ability to competently use rink sound systems
* Experience in leading/supervising a team
All applicants must be over 18 and eligible to work in the UK.
All applicants must have a valid First Aid qualification or be willing to undertake a First Aid course.
Expected hours: 3-4 days a week, overtime hours available
Shift patterns vary depending on the needs of the business.
Successful candidates must be available for shifts during Christmas Holidays including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Additional pay:
* Double pay on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day
