Your mission
Role Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent systems administrator in London SE1, to work as part of a small but dynamic team at Hello! Ltd. You will be reporting directly to the IT Manager. The job is split between systems administration and helpdesk support work. You will be working in a mixed environment made up of Windows/Linux and MAC OS X clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for making sure the servers and infrastructure are configured and run to a high standard
* Maintain infrastructure (networks, VMware, Servers, SAN, DR, Backups, Updates)
* Maintain Security updates and patches for all servers
* Ensure security of infrastructure, applications, and data
* Maintain Microsoft Active Directory / Manage Group Policy
* Manage and Maintain VMware systems
* Network administration of LAN
* Management and operation of NetApp
* Management and operation of Hyper-V
* Monitor performance and reliability of various systems including server logs
* Recommend best practices and improvements to infrastructure, servers, and systems
* Daily Monitoring of all key systems.
* Configuration and management of all computing equipment including clients and servers
* Provide frontline technical support for MacOS and Windows
* Work with the support team to implement resolutions to any problems.
* Provide up-to-date information to the IT Manager about any issues encountered and their resolution
* Research and design solutions and participate in any technical projects
* Performance tuning and optimization
* Support the Development and implementation of applications
* Maintain documentation for all systems
* Provide technical support at all levels in the company when required
* Provision of systems access and creation and maintenance of active directory and GPO
* Deploy backup, anti-virus and asset management
* Participate in any other tasks as directed by the IT Manager
Your profile
Requirements:
* Netapp, VMware, Windows server, Active Directory, Network Switches
* The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar post with strong experience in infrastructure.
* Above all, we require someone with a self-starting, can-do attitude and with excellent organisational skills and a candidate who enjoys a challenge.

* Active Directory, IIS, GPO, WSUS
* Linux Distribution
* Cisco LAN
* VMware
* NetApp Storage
* Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS
* PRTG / Splunk
* Good documentation Skills
* Desktop Support
* Networking Knowledge
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Must be available and willing to work extended hours when required.
* Enthusiastic and willing to participate in other tasks as directed by the IT Manager
* Well presented with excellent business communications skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Desirable skills (an advantage if you have any of these)
* Spanish speaker
* Apple Mac OS clients
* Publishing experience is ideal but not essential
* Experience with application support is an advantage
