About the Role: We’re seeking a production chemist to support an experienced team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the preparation, formulation, and packaging of our unique gold and silver nanoparticle products. You will gain experience in chemical synthesis, quality control (ISO:9001), and production scheduling.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the production, packaging, and dispatch of our cosmetics products.
* Preparation and formulation of bespoke samples/new product development.
* Characterization and analysis of nanoparticle batches and record keeping for batch records.
* Ensure production needs are consistently met and support continuous scale-up optimization.
* Assist in product development and prototyping, ensuring quality control and compliance with international standards (ISO:9001:2015).
* Communicate progress and achievements through detailed reports and presentations, engaging with stakeholders across various platforms to sustain interest and investment in our products.
Qualifications:
* Advanced degrees (BSc/BEng, Masters) in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Material Science and related fields.
* 2-3 years of experience (either academic or professional) in a chemical workspace.
* Compliance with health and safety practices in the workplace.
* Proficiency in Matlab, Python, GAMS, Excel, and other related data analysis tools.
* Project management and budgeting skills are essential.
* Excellent communication skills and a growth mindset.
