Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Rugby
Salary: £38,582 - £45,621 (inclusive of sleep-in payments and attendance bonus)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
SEND Inclusion Support is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded children’s residential care provider. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join one of their established homes in Rugby, supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will be a key part of the home's leadership team. You’ll support the daily operations of the home, ensure high standards of care, and provide guidance and mentoring to the staff team. You will also be expected to deputise for senior managers when required.
This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping young people thrive, even in the face of challenging circumstances. You'll need emotional resilience, compassion, and the ability to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities

Support and oversee daily care routines, ensuring a nurturing and structured environment

Provide guidance and supervision to the care team
*
Build strong relationships with young people, helping them develop life skills and emotional resilience
*
Work in line with care plans and safeguarding policies
*
Take responsibility for the home in the absence of senior management

Salary: £34,302 - £41,341 base salary

Additional sleep-in payments (up to 3 per month, £80 each – approx. £2,880 per year)

What We’re Looking For

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*
Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
*
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with young people
*
A calm, resilient approach to challenging situations
*
A genuine passion for helping children and young people reach their potential
*
Previous experience in a residential childcare setting is desirable
