HGV Technician/HGVTrailer Technician Monday – Friday – 8am-6pm Salary on offer - £35,000 - £44,000 basic dependent on experience Overtime paid at time and a half Sundays & BH paid at double time (Day in lieu for any BH worked) Company pension Private healthcare 25 days holiday plus bank holidays £500 joining fee Life assurance – 3 x salary Responsibilities of a HGV Technician/HGVTrailer Technician Carry out inspections, servicing and repair of trailers to company standard. Required to maintain and repair Heavy Goods trailers of the company assets (primarily trailers) and its customers own assets at customers sites/VMU’s/ workshops or roadside Ensure any use of company vehicles is done so within the legal road traffic guidelines Completing all job cards and compliance paperwork to the highest standard ensuring nothing is missed Provide excellent customer service whilst working on/off site You will be required to complete ongoing training where necessary Welding maybe required – if experienced/qualified to do so Requirements of a HGV Technician/HGVTrailer Technician Must have a Level 3 qualification with Heavy Good Vehicles (ideally with experience working with trailers), or be time served as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician Experience with Welding preferable but not essential Knowledge of computers required Ability to be able to understand and complete written paperwork required Ability to work on double deck trailers preferable but not essential
