Astra Academy International School opened in September 2021 in the heart of Bangkok and is growing rapidly. We are currently seeking an additional experienced, talented and passionate Mandarin Teacher (Whole School) to join our team in August 2025. If you are committed to child centred education, with a deep rooted desire to help every child fulfil their potential, and are interested in helping shape the future development of a young international school we would be delighted to hear from you.
Successful applicants will be offered a two year contract, renewable by mutual agreement, with competitive terms of employment and outstanding working conditions.
Required experience and qualifications:
* Bachelor of Education Degree, or appropriate degree.
* For a native language teacher, GCSE English or equivalent.
* Experiences working knowledge of teaching Mandarin using the National Curriculum for England.
* Current / previous experience teaching Mandarin Language at IGCSE / GCSE level.
Whilst not essential the following would be highly advantageous:
* Current / previous experience of working in an International School
* Experience of / willingness to, teach a second subject.
