About the Role
To support the smooth day to day operational running and standards of the Rooftop spa bar areas including the rooftop spa garden and welcome desk areas. Providing the highest levels of guest service, cleanliness and delivery of spa experiences. To promote all available business opportunities, predominantly food and drink sales and services within the spa.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Working Relationships/Communication
* To interact and communicate effectively with all team members of the spa and all members of the hotel team.
* To attend and partake fully in all departmental meetings ensuring effective team communication.
* Assist in providing departmental orientation to newly recruited staff.
* To make sure any positive and/or negative guest feedback is communicated to the manager as quickly as possible.
Productivity
* To ensure that sales tools are effectively utilised at all times to facilitate the sales process predominantly beverage sales.
* To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the back of house areas in line with company protocols.
* To order and ensure all spa essences throughout the plant facilities are at adequate levels.
* To carry out pool cleaning where required.
* To ensure adequate water tests are carried out at the appropriate intervals.
* To ensure full open and close down of the rooftop spa areas.
* To be commercially aware and ensure that the business is efficient and profitable.
* To be completely knowledgeable about all spa products and spa services.
* To ensure that all team members have clear objectives and use any time productively.
* To be fully aware of current and future services and make suggestions for improvement, expansion and/or creation of new services.
* To take ownership of the spa rooftop area and all other administrative duties required as requested by the Spa Manager and Spa director.
* To provide outstanding guest experiences.
* To efficiently manage stock rotation and notify the Rooftop Bar Manager of any requirements.
* To ensure effective opening and closing of the spa facilities and that the team are adequately trained.
* To ensure that all staff adhere to the spa dress code and are professionally presented at all times.
* Respond appropriately to guest Rooftop Spa guest complaints where required. This includes the monitoring and follow up of guest feedback.
* To ensure that sales tools are effectively utilised at all times to facilitate the sales process.
* To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the front and back of house areas in line with company protocols.
* To ensure all spa essences throughout the plant facilities are at adequate levels.
* To ensure full open and close down of the rooftop spa areas.

* To be completely knowledgeable about all spa products and spa services.
* To be fully aware of current and future services and make suggestions for improvement, expansion and/or creation of new services.

* To ensure adequate amounts of reading material are available for guests.
* To ensure that all outside areas are safe for use in cold weather.
* To ensure adequate staffing levels to achieve optimum sales and service levels at all times, informing Rooftop Bar Manager in times of need.
* To provide support to the management team and provide a positive, pro-active approach to coaching the rooftop team to embrace new procedures.
Standards
* To establish a strong guest service ethos, objectively evaluated through client feed-back.
* To ensure all guests are greeted on arrival to the Rooftop Spa with a warm, welcoming and friendly manner, ensuring a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
* To notify the Spa Manager immediately of any guest complaints whilst trying to resolve the issue to the guest's complete satisfaction.
* To ensure that the treatment and care protocols as established in the Standard Operational Procedures Manuals are evaluated, maintained and updated at all times. Ensure that the risk assessment file is maintained and updated at all times.
* To ensure the guests comfort and well-being is priority at all times.
* To maintain and oversee standards of excellence in terms of the visual presentation of the spa.
* To report all maintenance faults to The Spa Manager, Duty Manager or Maintenance Manager.
* To oversee levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times throughout the rooftop spa areas, implementing methods of audit to ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
* Ensure that all safety precautions and spa rules are observed by team members, members and spa guests to ensure yours and their safety at all times whilst using the spa.
