Are you a passionate support worker who has an interest in working in education? We are looking for dedicated emapthetic and nurturing indidivuals to join Teaching Personnel. We work closesly with primary and secondary SEN Schools across the Preston and surrounding areas, providing support staff to provide the best quality care and education to their pupils.
As a SEN support worker, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can thrive. You will work closesly with pupils, teachers and other support staff in school to provide a tailored approach in your assistance to the children. The children you will support will have special educational needs such as Autism. You may also be faced with some signs of challenging behaviour.
Your key responsibilities:
* Supporting students in their learning activities and personal development.
* Promoting each pupils social and emotional well-being.
* Helping maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive enviroment.
* Working closesly with the general classroom teachers to provide learning.
* Assisting with the implementation of EHCP's (educational health care plans).
What we are looking for:
* Experience supporting children or adults, not necessarily in an educational setting.
* Experience supporting with special educational needs or challenging behaviour.
* Great communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility and resilience.
* Passionate toward fostering growth, confidence and independance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
