Job summary The working arrangements for this role are primarily agile with an office base in ICB/NELC We are looking to appoint a Senior adult social care Contracts Officer to our team. The Senior Contracts Officer is a key member of our team and is a unique role that is fundamental to the close working relationships between ICB functions and Adult Social Care to promote and support the effective use of contract data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of contracts and services. The successful individual will provide high quality contract management support to ensure requirements are met and upheld, promoting quality improvement and best practice through application of robust contract management. We are looking for someone who can undertake complex and detailed information analysis of specific activities / reports requiring high levels of concentration, which may require comparing a range of options to support projects and the contract cycle. This post also requires forging close, trusting and meaningful relationships with our North East Lincolnshire Adult Social Care providers Main duties of the job To lead on the Adult Social Care Contracts, based on NHS Standard Contracts, with local Service and General Conditions to reflect local provision in line with the Section 75 agreement with HNY ICB & North East Lincolnshire Council The post holder will maintain close relationships with other Provider managers and responsible individuals to ensure service issues are addressed through contract terms and are managed appropriately. These can often be sensitive and difficult conversations including formal contractual action. The ability to manage these relationships is paramount. Contract Monitoring will involve site visits to providers to support quality of contract delivery, risk assessment and the collation and analysis of complex and contentious information.
