The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a critical role that oversees strategic initiatives and manages high-impact projects while facilitating effective communication across the organization. This position requires a proactive leader who can juggle multiple priorities, implement organizational excellence, and foster collaboration. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to our CEO, enhancing decision-making processes and overall effectiveness.
In this pivotal role, you will directly influence our strategic direction, fundraising efforts, and operational efficiency, contributing significantly to our mission of unlocking sustainable, reliable, and scalable energy solutions. Tasks
Strategic Planning & Execution:
* Collaborate closely with our CEO to develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans that align with HalioGen Power’s vision and objectives;
* Coordinate initiatives that reflect the CEO’s priorities, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion;
* Maintain meticulous documentation of strategic plans and reports for key stakeholders, ensuring easy accessibility and clarity;
* Lead data-driven assessments to evaluate operational performance and recommend actionable improvements.
* Assist in fundraising efforts by preparing and refining comprehensive investor materials (pitch decks, business plans, etc.);
* Conduct rigorous techno-economic analyses to support investment proposals and respond to ad-hoc requests from potential investors;
* Help in refining the business plan based on market feedback and strategic insights;
* Support on investor identification (dilutive & non-dilutive), communication and ad-hoc requests.
Executive Support & Communication:
* Drive the execution of key leadership meetings by managing agendas, developing presentation materials, and documenting actionable items;
* Foster clear communication and alignment across departments, acting as an intermediary between the CEO and internal stakeholders;
* Prepare impactful reports and presentations for executive meetings and external stakeholders.
Project Management & Operational Efficiency:
* Oversee cross-functional projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and are delivered on time;
* Lead special projects initiated by the executive team and effectively manage competing priorities;
* Exhibit acute situational awareness to analyse relevant information and share insights effectively.
Leadership & Culture:
* Foster a positive organizational culture by encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement;
* Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity, helping to develop a diverse and innovative work environment.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA preferred;
* Proven experience in strategic management, operations, or a similar role, ideally within the ClimateTech or DeepTech sectors (management consulting and/ or investment banking backgrounds welcome);
* Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously;
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for data-driven decision-making;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders;
* Strong command of the MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel etc);
* High degree of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities;
* A passion for renewable energy and commitment to sustainable practices.
