Technician to help us scale alternative marine protein production. If you're passionate about

About Us:
Aquanzo tackles aquaculture challenges by producing marine ingredients sustainably. We pioneer
industrial-scale zooplankton production, using local agricultural by-products to create natural feed for fish
and shrimp.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a practical worker to assist our team. As a Lab Technician, you'll care for
zooplankton—handling animal husbandry, tank maintenance, and health checks. You'll work with our
remote R&D team on experiments and data collection. This role suits those eager to build and operate a
growing system, with potential for a longer-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help conduct experiments and studies involving zooplankton
* Assist in daily health checks and tank monitoring
* Report system issues and help carry out maintenance when needed
Skills and Qualifications:
* Background in aquaculture/marine biology is preferred but not required
* Good physical fitness for hands on work in a lab environment
* Experience with accurate data inputting with an ability to spot patterns and trends
* Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
* Confident communicator, self-motivated and curious to try new things outside of your expertise and task area
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* A do-er mentality, determined to see through actions and drive the project forward
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
