ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for an Associate Director, Global Product Marketing to help further grow and accelerate our unique offering and content, globally. As Associate Director, Global Product Marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape and conduct the future of Audible’s products by translating customer needs into customer-centric strategies that inform technology, content, and marketing investment that surprise and delight audiences across the globe – North America, APAC, Europe, UK, Brazil (Audible’s existing regions/marketplaces). You’ll contribute to defining our go-to-market strategy, with an eye on expanding Audible’s value proposition, member base, and lifetime value across end consumers and creative stakeholders.

As an Associate Director, Global Product Marketing, you will…
1. Continuously improve the value of membership by partnering with Product, Content and Country Leadership on new core features, benefits, and CX enhancements that will delight and engage current and future customers.
2. Craft product stories to existing and prospective customers in an increasingly exciting category by creating clear and consistent propositions articulated through effective messaging.
3. Drive and orchestrate the go-to-market strategies and oversee implementation for high-impact product and feature launches, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Country Managers, and Growth Marketers.
4. Work in lockstep with our research team to uncover key customer insights and validate hypotheses; champion customer needs throughout the organization.
5. Communicate business plans and marketing strategy to senior leadership.
6. Partner with surface and channel Marketing teams to deploy GTM plans, and guide cohesive messaging strategy across outbound and inbound marketing channels.
7. Partner with Communications team to craft our external story and press approach around product evolution.
8. Partner with Finance, Analytics, and Data Science to define, measure and report on success and opportunity areas.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 6+ years of experience in product marketing and business strategy, with experience in defining and driving new customer-centric products and features toward market launch rollout.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field of study.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Demonstrated understanding of insights development, messaging strategy, customer experience and persuasive marketing techniques in driving engagement with new or existing features or benefits.
2. Ability to flex between big picture strategic decisions and granular tactical solutions.
3. Thought leader with demonstrated ability to drive positive change in an organization.
4. A demonstrated record of partnering with teams across the organization and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals.
5. Thrives on collaborative work; attacks big problems with big ideas, sans ego.
6. Strong analytics and business case development skills.
7. Fantastic oral and written communication skills.
8. Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
9. MBA.
10. Experience in membership-based business models.
11. Experience with creator-driven businesses.
12. Experience in digital content and/or media companies.
