MAINTENANCE MANAGER, Fraser Hospitality
Rate of Pay / Hours - £28,163 / 40 hours per week

What you will be doing as a Maintenance Manager:
1. Leading the engineering and maintenance operations of the property, including the standard of building, machinery, plant, furniture, fixtures and equipment in all areas.
2. Ensuring the safety and security of property and people by coordinating and ensuring the implementation of procedures and regulatory follow-up.
3. Planning and overseeing all repair and installation activities including fire safety installations.
4. Undertaking plumbing, carpentry, decorating, electrical and mechanical engineering work as necessary to maintain safe and efficient systems within the company.
5. Having a comprehensive knowledge of and ensuring compliance with all statutory local legislation and regulation, in particular, H&S, building regulations and Fire Safety.
6. Monitoring, optimising and anticipating your budgets and your maintenance and personnel expenses.
7. Contributing to the optimisation of the results of the property including making rooms available for sale.
8. Ensuring sustainability and green policies are followed, as well as developing new ways of working to help increase and improve sustainability initiatives.
9. Developing and training all employees within your charge in order that they perform to the required standard.
10. Communicating effectively so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them.
What we’re looking for:
1. You have proven experience in a similar role.
2. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
3. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
4. Experience in planning maintenance operations.
5. Hands-on attitude, with attention to detail.
6. To be able to lead and inspire people to be their best.
7. Be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
8. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
9. You are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service.
